Randolph 22a5f98b39 platform: generic/andes: fix 32-bit shift overflow in decode_pmaaddrx()
decode_pmaaddrx() reconstructs the NAPOT region start and size from a
pmaaddr CSR value using "1 << (k + 3)" and "1 << k". The integer
literal 1 has type int, so these shifts are performed in 32-bit
precision. Shifting a 32-bit value by 32 or more bits is undefined
behavior, and on RV64 the compiler emits sllw, which truncates the
shift amount modulo 32.

As a result, any PMA region with size >= 4 GiB (k >= 29) is decoded
incorrectly. For example, on the Andes QiLai SoC the PCIe region
0x1000000000 - 0x17ffffffff (pmaaddr = 0x4ffffffff, k = 32) is decoded
as an 8-byte region at 0x13fffffffc.

This is not merely cosmetic: decode_pmaaddrx() is used by
has_pma_region_overlap() and andes_sbi_free_pma(), so overlap checks
are performed against bogus ranges and freeing such an entry by its
physical address always fails.

Promote the shifts to unsigned long so they are performed in the
native register width.

Xiang W 4e79fd7de5 platform: generic: sophgo: Move SG2042 timer memregion workaround
Commit 4813a20420 ("lib: sbi_init: Call hart init and timer init
before platform early init") reordered the cold/warm boot sequence so
that sbi_timer_init() runs before sbi_platform_early_init().

The SG2042 platform workaround that merges the 16 separate timer
regions into a single domain memregion was previously performed in
early_init(). After the reordering the MTIMER driver therefore adds
the individual regions first, defeating the purpose of the combined
region (and wasting PMP entries).

Move the addition of the combined memregion into extensions_init(),
which is invoked from sbi_hart_init() and consequently still executes
before sbi_timer_init().

Junhui Liu cc9b4ef8f3 platform: generic: spacemit: k1: fix wrong address definitions
PMU_AP_CORE2_IDLE_CFG and PMU_AP_CORE3_IDLE_CFG are not continuous with
PMU_AP_CORE0_IDLE_CFG and PMU_AP_CORE1_IDLE_CFG. They are at PMU AP
base + 0x160 and + 0x164, matching the vendor OpenSBI definitions. After
fixing these addresses, the intermediate cluster offset macros are
redundant now, so define the wakeup and idle registers directly as
PMU_AP_BASE offsets. This makes the actual register addresses easier to
inspect and compare against the vendor code.

C1_RVBADDR_HI_ADDR is also corrected according to the vendor OpenSBI
definition. This was tested by writing an invalid value to the corrected
address, which prevents cluster1 CPUs from coming online, while doing
the same with the old address does not affect SMP boot.

Bo Gan 7bff4e529e platform: generic: eswin: Add eic770x_hsm and fix warm reset issues
During warm reset, my EIC770X/Hifive Premier P550 can sometimes
encounter memory corruption issue crashing Linux boot. Currently the
issue is mitigated by having a sbi_printf before writing to the reset
register. I analyzed the issue further since then. From the SoC
datasheet[1], it's recommended to implement power-down flow as:

  a. Designate a primary core, and let it broadcast requests to other
cores to execute a CEASE insn. Primary core also notifies an
     "Externel Agent" to start monitoring.
  b. Primary core waits for other cores to CEASE before it CEASEs.
  c. "External Agent" waits for primary core to CEASE before resets
     the Core Complex.

It's possible that EIC770X can trigger undefined behavior if the core
complex is reset while the harts are actively running. The sbi_printf
in the reset handler effectively hides the problem by delaying the
reset -- by the time sbi_printf finishes, all other harts will have
already landed in the loop in sbi_hsm_hart_wait(), which parks the hart.
Without the sbi_printf, I confirmed that other harts haven't reached
sbi_hsm_hart_wait yet before current hart resets the SoC. (by debugging)

To safely reset, and inspired by the datasheet, the warm reset logic
in eic770x.c now use the current hart as both primary core and the
"External Agent", and other harts as secondary cores. It leverages
the HSM framework and a new eic770x_hsm device to CEASE other harts,
and wait for them to CEASE before resets the SoC. with the sbi_printf
before reset removed, and this logic in place, stress test shows that
the memory corruption issue no longer occurs.

The new eic770x_hsm device is only used for the reset-CEASE logic at
the moment, and may be extended to a fully functional HSM device in
the future.

Anirudh Srinivasan 895201cc5a platform: Fix payload alignment when FW_TEXT_START isn't 2M/4M aligned
The payload for FW_PAYLOAD needs to be placed at a 2M/4M aligned address
(for 64/32 bit systems) and the current makefile uses FW_PAYLOAD_OFFSET
to achieve this. This only works if FW_TEXT_START is already 2M/4M
aligned. Most existing physical/virtual platforms have used a
FW_TEXT_START of 0x0 or 0x80000000, so this hasn't been an issue so far.
If, for example, FW_TEXT_START is 0x80000, the payload would end up
placed at 0x280000 on a 64 bit system, which isn't a 2M aligned
address.

Update the makefile to use FW_PAYLOAD_ALIGN instead. This will ensure
that the address picked for the payload is 2M/4M aligned irrespective of
where FW_TEXT_START is.

Vladimir Kondratiev 331dae1bc1 platform: generic: mips eyeq7h: prohibit accessing memory beyond DRAM
SBI code arranges domain PMP regions in a way that last entry is
all-inclusive "0..~0 RWX" and the rest of entries are not programmed.
This causes a problem for the eyeq7h.

CPU can issue speculative prefetches to non-existent addresses. If this
access goes to the system NOC, it is mis-interpreted as an access
violation and error is reported, forcing system reset.

To prevent such a speculative transaction to leave a CPU cluster,
block it using PMP, by restricting memory region to physically present
memory. To achieve this, on early init:

- update flags for the last all-inclusive "0..~0 RWX" entry to be
inaccessible MMIO. MMIO serves to set up PMA attributes to uncached
non-prefetchable, preventing transactions to reach system NOC
- add an all-permissive entry matching DRAM.

Resulting memory regions:

Vladimir Kondratiev c69c159bd0 platform: generic: mips p8700: use global CM addresses
In the multi-cluster system each cluster has its own CM (Coherency Manager).
Every CM has its "global" memory address where it is accessible from
any bus master.
Initially, all CMs accessible from the local cluster using same "local"
address. Transactions by local address are not routed through system bus
and thus are faster.

Remap CM in every cluster to the local address matching its global address.
Then, every CM is always accessed using same address, but when transaction
initiated from the local cluster it is routed internally.

This removes need for 2 PMP regions covering local address access.
CM accessor functions simplified because there's no need to detect whether
transaction is local or global

Access timer always in cluster 0

Ben Zong-You Xie b27ecec76b lib: utils/suspend: add Andes ATCSMU suspend driver
Implement a system-wide suspend driver for the Andes AE350 platform.
This driver supports Andes-specific deep sleep (suspend to RAM) and
light sleep (suspend to standby) functionalities via the ATCSMU.

The major differences between deep sleep and light sleep are:

- Power Domain and Resume Path: Deep sleep powers down the core domain.
Consequently, harts waking from deep sleep resume from the reset
vector. Light sleep utilizes clock gating to the core domain; harts
maintain state and resume execution at the instruction immediately
  following the WFI instruction.

- Primary Hart Wakeup: In both modes, the primary hart is woken by
UART or RTC alarm interrupts. In deep sleep, the primary hart is
additionally responsible for re-enabling the Last Level Cache (LLC)
  and restoring Andes-specific CSRs.

- Secondary Hart Wakeup: In light sleep, secondary harts are woken
by an IPI sent from the primary hart. In deep sleep, they are
woken by an ATCSMU hardware wake-up command. Furthermore,
secondary harts must restore Andes-specific CSRs when returning
  from deep sleep.
